Students in Mr. Baresel's 7th-grade social studies class learned about Mayan and Aztec ceremonial towers and then competed in a STEM challenge to build their own.

Sr. Mary Solonaus spoke with 4J about how her vocation of sisterhood shows God’s love. They were able to hear sister’s story about her calling to her vocation.
We are so blessed to have both Sr. Mary Solanus and Sr. Mary Joseph here at Jordan.

The 6th-grade students in Mr. B's Social Studies created prehistoric tools to experience hunting and gathering. The students collected the materials and then created the tools. They learned what it was like to make tools in the Stone Age and then put them in a "museum" for the school to see the world of the Prehistoric Era.

JA has started in 4th grade with Mrs. Happ. They are creating their own business that use the resources from their region.

5th & 6th grade girls dug into God's truth Friday morning & discussed that when we rightly put our identity in Jesus, we have full hope and assurance vs when we put our identity in things of this world. They listened to "The Truth" by Megan Woods and wrote down the identity they have in Christ that most stood out to them. We are Daughters of the King!

7th-grade students in Mr. Baresel's Financial Literacy class created a budget. They had $5,200 to live off of in a month and needed to write a monthly budget for food, rent, transportation, entertainment, utilities, insurance, phone and savings. The students learned about saving money and how tough it is to make sure that ends meet at the end of the month.

In Mr. Baresel's 6th-grade social studies class, students formed clans of 2-3 members and worked together in a game of chance and choice to see if they could survive the Stone Age and transition into the Iron Age. They needed at least 45 points to survive and...they all did.

Today is IT Professional Day and we are blessed with the best! Mrs. Punkiewicz handles her daily responsibilities with a kind heart and a great sense of humor with staff and students alike. Her classes are built around computer literacy standards and delivered to students in an engaging and creative way. We are very fortunate, thank you Mrs. Punkiewicz for all you do for our school!
The Preschool students listened attentively while Mrs. Zelnio’s 4th graders read books from the How Do Dinosaurs🦕…? collection by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague. Next week, Llama, Llama!📚
