Happy Earth Day! 🌎 In honor of Earth Day, the Jordan EarlyAct Club has entered Jordan Catholic School in the Clean Earth Challenge! 🏆 The goal of the challenge is to eliminate one million items of trash in our communities, parks, schools, and shorelines. 🌳
Throughout this week, we are asking all students to go out with their families to pick up trash from your neighborhoods, local parks, roadsides, or even down along our area rivers. 🏞️ Every item collected counts, and no amount is too little. 👍
Once you’ve collected trash, we are asking families to get online to let us know how many pieces of trash you collected. ➡️ https://www.jordanschool.com/page/cleanearthchallenge
Good luck cleaning up our community, and thanks for your participation in the Clean Earth Challenge! 😊 Let's make a difference! ✨

Pure joy and wonder filled our second-grade classroom today! Our students were so fortunate to witness the incredible miracle of life as chicks hatched from their eggs. The excitement continued with a delightful birthday celebration for our new arrivals, featuring fun activities, yummy cupcakes, and lots of happy birthday wishes! 🥰🐣

Our 7th and 8th graders are now better prepared thanks to the incredible CPR class led by the Rock Island Fire Department in our gym this week! ❤️🔥 Thank you for empowering our students with the knowledge and skills to help others. 💪

5th grade kicked off our 4th novel of the year last week—Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt! 📚✨
This powerful story delivers such an important message about embracing individuality and celebrating success in all its forms. Through Ally’s journey, we’re learning that everyone has unique strengths and weaknesses, and that it’s essential to support and accept one another—especially when we’re different.
We can’t wait to see the amazing conversations and reflections this book sparks in their classroom! 💬❤️

Huge shoutout to our amazing 3rd graders for being such fantastic role models to our kindergarten friends at Stations of the Cross! It warmed our hearts to see your kindness, patience, and leadership in action. You truly made the experience so meaningful for our youngest learners. Thank you for shining so brightly! ✨
