Unleash the Magic! ✨ What an enchanting week we had during Week 7 of Jordan's Summer Camp! Our "Mythical & Magical" theme sparked incredible creativity, and our campers truly brought their imaginations to life. They conjured up an array of amazing art, including towering Jack and the Beanstalk creations, majestic castles, regal crowns, beautiful canvas art, and fantastic large wall paintings. Plus, they added a touch of wonder with whimsical rainbow clouds!
Beyond the art, our young storytellers wove their own captivating tales as they wrote their own stories. And for an extra sprinkle of magic, everyone loved the vibrant face painting transformations! It was a truly spellbinding week.

Labor Day Parade Lead Needed!
Help Bring the Jordan Catholic spirit to life in this year’s Labor Day Parade!
This year’s Rock Island Labor Day Parade is just around the corner, and we’re looking for someone to take the lead and help our school show up in a big way!
The theme for this year is “Rockin’ the Arts”—a celebration of creativity, talent, and expression.
This is the perfect opportunity to represent our school with a float or walking group that shines with color, school pride, and artistic flair.
We Need a Parade Lead Who Can:
•Coordinate Jordan Catholic’s parade entry
•Brainstorm and execute a theme (simple or artsy—we’re flexible!)
•Organize supplies and decorations
•Rally volunteers to help with setup and day-of support
•Help us submit the entry form by August 18
Parade Details:
•📍 Where: Parade starts at Washington Jr. High (33rd St. & 18th Ave)
•🗓 When: Monday, September 1, 2025
•⏰ Line-up at 8:30 AM / Parade starts at 9:30 AM
•🛻 Route: 2 miles (ends at Rock Island High School)

This is one of the biggest community events of the year, and it’s an incredible way to:

Roaring Fun in Week 6: Dinosaur Discovery! 🦖
What an incredible adventure we had during Week 6 of Jordan's Summer Camp! Our "Dinosaur Discovery" theme was a prehistoric party, and our campers became true paleontologists. They cooled off with dino popsicles, unleashed their inner artists creating dino art using cotton swabs, and conquered challenging dino puzzles.
The excitement continued with a thrilling dino scavenger hunt and an amazing ice egg excavation where they unearthed hidden surprises! Our creative campers also crafted fantastic cardboard dino heads, completed a collaborative dino bulletin board project, and made vibrant dino dot paintings. It was a truly dino-mite week!

What an astronomical adventure we had during Week 4 of Jordan's Summer Camp! Our "Blast Into Space" theme was truly stellar, and our campers launched into creativity. They crafted their very own space helmets, painted vibrant planet art, and even engineered awesome moon craters.
Our cosmic creators also designed dazzling space-themed stained glass projects and bright suncatchers. To top it all off, they experienced the wonder of simulated stargazing and made beautiful night sky finger paintings. Their imaginations definitely took flight!

What an incredible journey we had during Week 3 of Jordan's Summer Camp! Our "Around the World" theme was a huge hit, and our campers truly became global citizens. They dove into their imaginations, creating their very own nations, complete with unique national flags flying high! We saw some amazing landscape art inspired by diverse terrains, and even had some future leaders designing their own oval offices. Plus, our campers showed off their artistic flair by painting rocks.

Calling all adventurers! 🚀 Week 1 of Jordan's Summer Camp was an absolute blast, filled with "STEM Adventures" and tons of creative fun! Our campers became master builders, brainstorming, creating, and constructing amazing projects. From designing unsinkable foil boats to engineering towering marshmallow structures and incredible towers, their imaginations soared! They even unleashed their inner game designers creating unique board games and captivating comics.
