Dear JCS Families,

It has been a blessed start to the year at Jordan. We are pleased to welcome over 40 new students to our school noting increases in preschool, preK and Kindergarten this school year. Thank you for your support.

Our enrollment remains consistent in grades 3-8 and we are proud to be not only a new home for several new families but pleased to receive positive feedback about our Christian environment. We are a family at Jordan and we aspire to connect our students to their faith and help them grow spiritually and academically. You will see this theme throughout our Home and School Association's planned events this school year.

MAP testing is nearing completion and again we are seeing the impact of our data based instruction and academic plans at Jordan. Our students are starting the year at an even higher achievement level than the prior year in both Math and Reading. We continue to provide additional academic opportunities to allow our students to achieve their individual goals.

Our bathroom remodel is complete and our video camera system has experienced an upgrade. A safe and clean environment is always a top concern at our school. Thank you to Mr. Hessman, Mrs. Punkiewicz and their teams for their hard work finishing these projects with another special note of thanks to Mr. Tim Thompson for providing the extensive labor to complete the bathroom remodel.

Blessings,

Kelly McLaughlin
