5th grade & 6th grade girls devotional club posing together for a group photo

WOW!

What a great last devotional time we had together today! We were able to (comfortably) squeeze over 30 girls in here on Friday for a devotional thought and worship.

Each 5th and 6th grade girl (regardless if they were able to make it this morning) was gifted a "Summer Scripture Jar" filled with verses, prayers, and reminders of who we are in Christ. The QR code on the jar can be scanned to enjoy an uplifting & encouraging playlist of songs on YouTube.

I want to leave you with these 3 things:

1. As I was making each of the jars, each of the girls were prayed for by name with a prayer of blessing over their summers. Today,  I prayed over the girls and asked the Holy Spirit to continue to work in their hearts and stir in them a desire to know Him better and to reach more for their Bibles this summer. In our devotional thought today, we talked about how "The more you know Him, the more you'll love Him. From that love, so many amazing gifts will overflow into your life. Your relationships, academics, emotions, and future will all feel brighter and more purposeful in huge ways."

2. I cannot wait to join together again with the 5th and 6th grade girls next year! For those now-6th-graders-going-to-be-7th-graders...I have an idea in the works for a more intentional Bible study time that will meet bi-weekly during lunch... more information to come in the fall as the vision comes together!

3. I wanted to make you aware of a summer camp opportunity this summer for girls ages 7-12. A friend of mine, and owner of Excelsior Ranch, is hosting a horse camp focused on leadership, empathy, and confidence. Her love and passion for Jesus & teaching others with horses is uplifting and inspiring. Horse loving girls are sure to LOVE this camp! I am attaching a flyer with more information.

Thanks again for supporting your girls and letting them be a part of this time! If they weren't able to make it at all this year, there will be opportunities next year!

Your girls are a true joy and light!
