What do you most enjoy doing away from Jordan?:
Reading and spending time with family and friends.
If you were stranded on a desert island, which two books would you most like to have with you?: Any Mary Higgins Clark book or a mystery, suspense book.
Interesting Personal Fact:
I was born in Canada and became a U.S. citizen in 1983.

My philosophy: 
In my 24 years of education I  believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially.  It is my desire as an educator to help my students to meet their fullest potential in these area by providing an environment that is safe,supports risk taking and invites a sharing of ideas.  Teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth.  As an educator I hope to instill a love of learning in my students.
What is special about what I do :
I get to help my students to develop their potential by believing in them as capable  and caring individuals.  Teaching has taught me to open my mind and heart to the joys, the innocence and the diversty of ideas in my classroom.  Because of this, I will never forget how to smile with the new, cherish the old, and laugh with the chikdren..
What is special about Jordan:
Jordan provides a compassionate, strong and dedicated faculty and staff who are excited about working with children.  I am proud that I am able to teach and spread our faith every day.
What i am looking forward to this year:
I look forward to sharing my passion of learning with my students.  I am anxious to help my students to become children who love to   read and learn new things…I hope to help the students to be motivated to work hard, have fun learning and to reach for the stars.
