Time at Jordan:
11 years
Position at Jordan:
4th Grade Teacher
Educational Background:
Rock Island High School, Black Hawk College, Moline, IL, St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA. Degree B.A. in Education
My teaching philosophy is very simple: Take each day and fill it with knowledge, fun and Jesus. At the end of the day when my students go home I hope they are happy and that they have fun and interesting things to share with their family about their day at school.
What is special about what I do?
I love to take all the experiences that I have had while traveling the world with People to People Student Ambassadors and sharing them with my students and get them excited about the world around them. Once they get excited there is no stopping them from wanting to learn and explore this amazing world.
What is special about Jordan?
What makes Jordan Catholic School so special….the parents, students and staff. We are very lucky to have such incredible and supportive parents who work so hard to make our school an awesome place to learn. Our students are smart, talented and very compassionate, they will make exceptional leaders when they grow up. Our teachers and staff are out of this world, they go above and beyond what is expected of them to make Jordan a caring and loving community.
What I am most looking forward to this school year:
I am looking forward to all the fun and excitement of a new group of students, a new classroom and can’t wait for the new addition to Jordan to be completed. This will be a year of excitement and unlimited possibilities!
If you were stranded on a desert island, which two books would you most like to have with you?:
